Law of Associations and Foundations We provide legal advisory services to client associations and foundations regarding the management and supervision of civil society organizations in accordance with the legislation.

Our main tasks related to the Law of Associations and Foundations:

According to Article 101 of the Turkish Civil Code, foundations are property communities with legal personality formed by real or legal persons by dedicating sufficient property and rights to a specific and permanent purpose.

According to Article 56 of the Turkish Civil Code, an association is a community of persons with legal personality, formed by at least seven natural or legal persons by continuously combining their knowledge and efforts in order to realize a specific and common purpose other than sharing profits.

The branch of law that examines the establishment, registration and announcement procedures, management and supervision, activities and termination of foundations and associations is called the law of foundations and associations.
